We are so excited to begin the 23/24 school year. Kettering's PTA board has been working hard to plan for this year, we hope you can help us in bringing enrichment, fun, and community to our KIDS!
Here are some dates to remember:
August 25th (Friday) at 5:00 pm class assignments will be released in ParentVue
August 28th (Monday)
- 11:30 am - 3:30 pm Spirit Wear sale in front of the school
- 3:30 pm TK/ K Tour (meet in the auditorium)
- 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm TK/K Meet and Greet (in the kinder yard)
August 30th (Wednesday) - First day of school - minimum day 8:00 am - 1:00 pm
August 31st (Thursday) 5:30 pm - 5th grade parent meeting Camp Oaks information (5th grade students are welcome to attend) - Kettering auditorium
September 7th 5:30 pm - 7:30 pm - Back to School Night (Parents only)
September 15th 7:45 am-8:20 am - Coffee with PTA
September 22nd - PTA Family Night - Bingo! @ 6pm
October 16th - 20th - 5th grade to Camp Oaks
Volunteer Needs:
Kettering's PTA is powered by volunteers! Volunteers are vital to PTA events, without volunteers we cannot make any events happen. Most events do not require VIPS Status to volunteer.
August 28 - Kinder/TK Welcome* - The PTA hosts a meet and greet for the incoming Kinder/TK students. Traditionally the incoming 1st and 2nd-grade parents/kids come to help set up and welcome the new class. Go to https://signup.com/go/cWKxnTE to sign up to help!
September 22 - Family Night, Bingo* - The PTA's first family event this year is Bingo Night!

We encourage all of our Kettering Family to join the PTA. Teachers, Parents, extended family, guardians, and even students (as non-voting members) can join.
Joining the PTA does not volunteer you for anything, it does give you the ability to vote in all PTA association meetings.
Kettering's PTA Board is looking for ROOM PARENTS. You must be a certified VIPS through LBUSD and be able to commit to a few hours of service to your classroom. See Ketteringpta.org for more information.
Looking Forward:
We will need volunteers for Trunk or Treat; we need candy donations, family to host trunks and help with coordinating set up & clean up the night of the event.
