PTA Board Nominations Process
The PTA board nominations process typically begins with a call for nominations in Jan/Feb of the school year, where members of the school community can suggest candidates for various board positions. A nominating committee is then formed to review the nominations and ensure that the candidates meet the necessary qualifications. The committee presents a slate of candidates to the PTA membership, who then vote to elect the new board members during a general meeting. This process ensures that the board is composed of dedicated individuals committed to supporting the school's mission and activities. If you are someone you know would like to be considered for a position on the PTA Board please email parliamentarian@ketteringpta.org. Active PTA members can run for any spot on the board.
Elected Executive PTA Board
PTA board positions are filled by election in spring for the upcoming school year.
Board positions are 100% volunteer.
Please send an email to parliamentarian@ketteringpta.org if you would like to be on next year's ballot.
